About This Course

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to safely operate an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) with a boom length under 11 metres. Participants will learn pre-operational checks, safe operating procedures and emergency responses.

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for RIIHAN301E — Operate Elevating Work Platform — a nationally recognised unit of competency.

Half Day Course starts at 8am

There is a also a bulk booking fee of 30c for each additional person booked online.

Unit 5/20 Cook Drive, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450 (Behind BISCO)

  • Students must be able to complete the theory & practical assessments & have adequate literacy & numeracy skills.
  • Payment required prior to commencement of course.

  • Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
  • Comfortable, suitable work clothing for practical activities which include operating an Elevating Work Platform
  • Hi Vis gear will be provided
  • Enclosed shoes must be worn, preferably work boots

  • Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform
  • Conduct work activities form elevating work platform
  • Carry out operator maintenance
  • Clean up

  • All participants must undertake an assessment after training.
  • All participants that successfully complete the assessment will be issued with a statement of attainment. This unit of competency is nationally recognised.

The unit you will attain is;

  • RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevating Work Platform

Allowances can be made for participants with language, literacy & numeracy issues.

You will complete a short literacy and numeracy assessment on enrolment and if we identify any learning difficulties the Trainer/Assessor will be notified prior to your attendance for the course. Depending on your learning difficulty, the Trainer can spend extra time assisting you and/or do a verbal assessment with you. Or we may discuss options with you and may refer you to other support services as outlined in the Candidate Support, Welfare and Guidance Section on page 11 of the Student Handbook.

  • $100 deposit on confirmation of booking per enrolment
  • Cancellation or reschedule more than 7 days prior to commencement – 50% refund
  • Cancellation or reschedule 7 to 2 days prior to commencement – 20% refund
  • Cancellation or reschedule within 2 business days of commencement – No refund
  • Course to be paid in full before commencement of the course

I did 4 tickets with Graham long ago did ridged truck artic truck roller and loafer. Couldn't not say enough about his attention to detail and comfortable manner in witch he delivers his training. Brad and Graham were great instructors and assessors for my forklift license. They were clear at all times and ran through practice questions throughout the three-day course.
