Unit 5/20 Cook Drive, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450 (Behind BISCO)

• Must be physically fit
• Students must be able to complete theory and practical assessments and have adequate literacy skills
• Payment required prior to commencement of course

• Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
• Comfortable, suitable work clothing for practical activities
• Hi Vis gear will be provided
• Enclosed shoes must be worn, preferably work boots

Working at Heights (Morning Session — 8:00am)

• Identifying work requirements and procedures
• Accessing and installing heights safety equipment
• Selection, fit, use, and maintenance of:
  • Harnesses and lanyards
  • Fall arrest devices
  • Ropes and static lines
  • Anchorage points
• Performing work at heights safely
• Clean up and equipment storage

Confined Spaces (Afternoon Session — 1:00pm)

• Legislation and regulatory requirements
• Hazardous atmospheres and substances
• Identifying hazards in confined spaces
• Risk management and implementing controls
• Working in accordance with an issued permit
• Planning and preparing to enter a confined space
• Entering, working within, and exiting a confined space
• Post-work clean up

All participants must undertake an assessment after training. Those who successfully complete the assessment will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. All units are nationally recognised.

• MSMPER200 — Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit
• MSMPER205 — Enter Confined Space

Allowances can be made for participants with language, literacy and numeracy issues. You will complete a short assessment on enrolment and if any learning difficulties are identified, the Trainer/Assessor will be notified prior to your course date. Depending on the difficulty, the Trainer can provide additional support, conduct a verbal assessment, or discuss referral to appropriate support services as outlined in the Student Handbook.

• Cancellation or reschedule 7 to 2 days prior to commencement — 20% refund
